Hey guys,

just wanted to share a small story. just took out my hobie PA for the first time since i purchased it over a week and a half ago... i was able to launch and troll rodeo and hercules for a few hours today and popped my cherry with some striper action. landed 3 keepers and 4 shakers with the biggest at 23". boy was i thinking buying the boat was going to be addicting with upgrades but after catching my first fish, it has opened a whole new can of worms  :smt001 now its time to move to one of my favorite fish.... HALIBUTS.
Joined this forum before i even got my boat and all the information has been only but helpful and appreciated. hope to meet some of you guys OTW soon.

Vince, I launch from our local boat repair/storage shop in rodeo. They have a old boat launch into San pablo bay. It had a launching fee. Not sure if they do daily passes but I do know it's 40-50 bucks a year.

With the type of yak that we have 50 a year is not a problem,I've been trying to get some info on richmond rod and gun club they have a small boat launch also.been trying to see how to join.the spring and fall run in point Pinole is massive thru there.last year during the fall run I caught a bunch from shore.I saw 4 hali get pulled out of there.but watch out for the jumping sturgeon :smt003
