Thanks Chuck - great time hanging with everybody.  Learned some good rigging tricks for the AIs.  Beautiful evening as well.

Thanks for letting us try the Tandem Island, Chuck. And for the sailing lesson, O2B and HT. I'm not sure that much fun is allowed on school nights.

I wanna thank all of you for coming down and supporting me, Hobie, and CCK.   The turnout was excellent.  I think I had the most fun of all.  The thrill for me was getting guys like Danglin, Hobie Dave, and Daviator on the Hobie Tandem Island for their first ride when the wind was blowing.  The look on G-Whiz's face right after demo'ing a newly unwrapped Hobie ProAngler 12 was priceless too.

Thanks to G-Whiz, Lino, Allen, Al, and PatR for bringing their toys for our show-n-tell.

The potluck was excellent as usual, and Daviator's tacos were tasty.

I'm already looking forward to doing it again!

My gal Pam plans to retire next year. That demo has me thinking, a Tandem Island would be the ticket for retirement fun. I visualize launching here in Vallejo or Benicia often. Once the TI is purchased the cost per outting would be less than $2.00. Don't be thinking divorce boat, she has put up with me for 43 years already. Girl got a high pain threshhold. Doesn't Hobie-Pam have a nice ring to it?

+1 on Hobie-Pam and TI for retirement fun.  Not sure how you figure $2 per outing though.  :-)  I've never sailed in Vallejo or Benicia but I've taken the PB there.  Sometimes it can get hairy there for sailing.  To many power boats or to much current for me.  But then you might know some areas that maybe more doable.

She will like it. The potential problem could be, feeling pain in her butt or back.

The $2.00 is for fuel to tow the trailer. The current and wind will be our friend. We'll just let the tide dictate which direction to go. The power boats really don't want to spoil their day by hitting someone. The TI will be so much more visible than the granite colored Hobie sport that I used out there.
