Getting ready for wsb season?  Sounds cool, but who would u fish with since no one can keep pace with u?  I guess u could sleep in, launch later and catch up to the AI armada @ the salmon/wsb hotspot.  Man that sounds like a good alternative though...

Peace!

I think you will be trolling way too fast on a jet ski. To help you out, I will let you tow my kayak to slow you down to the perfect trolling speed. :smt003

Yeah!  Who's gonna fish with you?  I will petition to have you banned my brother.  It's bad enough we have these hobies running circles around us! :smt044

I think there's size requirements for ski's because of the national marine sanctuary status; last I recall it had to be the three seat sized ski.  You might wanna check with coast guard Monterrey.

Tim, the idle on my Jet Ski is run 2-3 mph. that should be good enough for trolling.  :smt002

You'll need to tow at least 3 of us to get down to a better trolling speed.   :smt044 :smt044 :smt044

Right on, might be a good idea to contact CG anyway.  I recall reading about the tow in guys getting a shakedown from the cg on their way to surf ghost tree.

Check out jetskibrian.com that guys skis are ridiculously tricked out for fishing.

I've wanted to give this a try myself and can't wait to see this! I heard of a jetski-er launching out of sausalito and fishing near Dux for pink.
