I apologize in advance, wasn't sure where to post this one.  sctrace and I are heading to Florida last minute Sat Jun 2-Thurs Jun 7.  We fly into Tampa and are going to be south in the Port Charlotte area and also in Saratoga.  We have a car so it's not a problem to travel and we REALLY want to kayak fish out there!!!  Any recommendations/hookups?  We are thinking of hitting up a guide to show us the ropes/gear etc. and then heading out on our own.  ANY recommendations for kayak clubs that might hook us up would be ideal, but otherwise, kayak rental places, gear to use (must haves), places to stay, food, etc. ALL WELCOME!  if its easier for you to call me, hit me up!  831-325-6296.  THANKS in advance for the help!  -Pondpoacher (Aaron)  :smt006

The best I can suggest id PMing Fishesfromtupperware, who's most active on the NWKA site. He's currently living in Jacksonville, which is on the wrong coast and wrong end of the state, but it's a lot closer than here. He might be able to dial you in to something a little more local.

Good luck, and give us a report!
