You have no idea Eric! I kinda threw this one together, but we can develop it into so many things. LIke archery elk/deer. And return in rifle if not successful. Doe tags OTC. Antelope archery and rifle both. Upland bird-hungarian partridge, all types of grouse, pheasant. Waterfowl, jump shooting, decoys in fields, decoys on water, and hunting for trumpeter swans and sand hill cranes. Not to mention fishing!

Guys, remember to bring handgun, pref 40 cal or larger. We are in grizzly and wolf territory. We will see them.
Fishing gear, spinning rod with panther martin spinners, lures of your choice. (just bring panther martins!)
Fly fishing, just bring what ever you have, no need for orvis, st croix, loomis bullshit. Fluegar is what I use. 5-6. Anyhow, I will bring my fly tying stuff, and teach you to tie your own flies! Gotta have something after dark to do other than play cribbage.

After we slay a bunch of these critters, what are the processing options?

Depending on when, I cut all mine up myself. I grind my own burger and make my own sausage and jerky. There are places to have it done, then ship it back. Problem with bringing it back, you cannot have any spinal tissue or brains in anything. So basically you have to bone it all out. Might as well just cut it up then in my book.

in camp? Then what? Ice chest, for 5-6 days? Come on Rich? Can we rent a locker in town? this is like pulling teeth. I know this has been done once or twice before, just not by me.

We can do it in camp, then haul out, or in the comfort of a shop. Freezer space is no problem. We have lots of them that are empty in Septemeber. I usually bring them to town, we have a shop there, with nice benches to work on. Pretty simple. We can buy butcher paper right there in town. I am hella good with a knife/butchering animals. By myself I can do an elk in an evening. What would probably happen, is kill one, that night take it in and cut it up, and put in a freezer. Drive up the next morning back to camp well before daylight.

Just got back from tour in Montana, to SOLD OUT SHOWS of 100 PLUS! Anyhow, right where we turn off to go to the spot, a huge nontypical muley stepped out in front of my truck/headlights. A dandy! Then went for ride in the mountains with the comedians, and jumped a herd of cows with good number of calves. Grouse are everywhere. Fishing was good, to, AWESOME. Getting close boyz!
