Canceled.... we had our first Nor Cal Board last night and decided that putting newbie wounded warriors, out on the salt for the first time, managing crab pots and creepy crawlers is probably a bad idea...
we would need ideal conditions... etc... etc.. so stayed tuned...

hey Don, I would like to go but don't know where this is exactly where this is. I can find Bodega bay ok but I guess I would just look for all the kayaks. I would be coming from San Lorenzo so it will take some time to get there too. so about what time would this shin-dig start on Saturday? I know you said more to follow but I just want ed to check in and let you know I would like to go.

Damn you Danglin, I swear you pick stuff based on my National Guard Drill Calander...lol I will be in Santa Rosa that weekend. Not to far away, I may try to talk my CO into letting a few people go if possible to help out or just to come by. We have an embbeded counselor with us, he may want to come down as well. My boat and rings are availble if you need them. Big Red (hobbie quest) is a very stable platform to go from. It won't get you anywhere fast, but it is very stable (no peddle drive)

But this event is CANCELED.... too many possibilities of things going wrong and the fact that the participants were going to be coming from far away...
we will be doing something soon, but not the salt for beginners....
