know of any set up to hang up the kayak in the garage?

Think I'm going with pulley system fishbucket was talking about. Just not sure how to rig it up yet. Anyone has pictures of their setup?

Thanks for posting this, there is a new harborfreight 1mile from my house... that is exactly what I need.

The 45lbs limitation may be an issue.  I use the bicycle hanger for my wife's yak, which is barely 30 lbs.  For my OK Scrambler, I bought a game hanger, also available at Harbor Freight for about $10.  It supports up to 400+lbs.

I use the bike one for my sit inside. It just works with that weight. Would not trust my tarpons on it.
