Hi, Jason. Keep us posted on stripers at LM. Is it true that stripers get hot during the summer, which is not far away.

jason, you come up with some sort of wacky experimental LM trolling casting yak plan, I want to be a part of it.

best,

To be honest it should be easier than that. With the exception of last year the bait usually comes in very close (surfline)  at that point you jig some bait throw out a hook with a live chovie and hang on.  Just like the party boats.  If not trolling will be the next best option.

I think Talyor has the biggest Striper from linda mar that I have seen.  I expecially like that he has Salmon to go with it.  He has lived the day I dream of at Linda Mar.

Okay, guys... here's that original Linda Mar photo of Tim that I proudly took on 7/11/04.  I believe the bigger striper over 31 lbs.

jason that sounds good.

can we use two rods for striper in the ocean?  I know only one is allowed for salmon.

could troll something behind the waves and cast back into the waves at likely spots?

if salmon are around I guess it could be an  issue but if we stay shallow we should
be able to use barbed trebles?

that photo is double to me, I never caught a striper or a salmon yet,  :smt010

Wow.  Is that the biggest kayak striper?

Biggest one I know about, at least on the west coast. The east coast guys might have bigger ones.
