Thanks for the invite fellas. Totally enjoyed myself digging in to some delicious dungies you all shared with me.
And yes Hojo, you are right about the home brewed beer. :smt005 After tasting Martin's home made beer, everything else doesn't come close. Hopefully during the holidays I can tag along with you guys and do some
crabbing during the weekdays. Oh and BTW, thanks for the shirt Dave.

Nice report and photos.
My wife and I will be camping/crabbing at Doran for Thanksgiving. Any suggestions on where/how deep to drop the traps?
We'll be in  #119 on Wed/Thurs and hoping to stay Fri if we can get a spot, company welcome.

Awesome to be that close to a whale, get any pics?

Got my limit within 100 yards from the beach & the jetty.  I move the traps/rings around until I found the good spots then relocated all my traps/rings there.

Looks like it's time to brew another batch.  Trading for crabs sounds like a good proposition to me.  I have jury duty on Monday but if I don't get on a jury, I'm gonna put another batch of the same recipe together.  It should be ready just in time for Christmas.  I think I'll leave a couple of bottles with the cookies and milk for the fat guy.  Maybe I'll get some fishing gear under the tree,

Martin

So what's your exchange rate?  1 bottle for 1 crab?  :smt003

Well Stu, kayak fishing is a lifestyle, not a hobby, sometimes you have to look at the swell report and say "Hey bud let's party"

If my wife doesn't want to go to visit her Mom in Monterey on that day then I'm game.
