Bought one from a member here a couple of years ago. Got a rainfly on line. I really like the ease of setup, small footprint and comfort. I put a thermorest pad in it and it is very comfortable. It does build up a lot of condensation so leave vents open. Only drawback for me is the space it takes up in the truck and storage compared to a two person tent.

Thanks Ruben! I enjoyed the tourney last year even though I had to leave early to entertain house guests that never showed.

Awesome. Go to their FB page and like!

Bait??  That's some good stuff.  In Japanese cooking they use it for a seasoning, a little bitter. Tried before it ain't that good.

We got second place at last years Mendo world champ ab cookoff (technically first place, at the last minute after being announced world champs they gave the award to the shop that sponsored the event)  with a recipie using ab guts.

If you didnt like it, maybe it wasnt done right, tasted pretty bomb.com to me and about 300 others  :smt002 :smt002 :smt002
Was Steve Harvey the announcer?

CA Regulations / Re: abalone gauge possession
« on: February 11, 2016, 08:52:23 PM »
I think it's a great question.

I would not give consent to use my iron

Just say no.

Basically nothing good can ever come from consenting to law enforcement requests. Only the status quo. At best. Just. Say. No.

I guess I'm missing the point or am just naive?

When I see a warden I usually say hi and ask if he wants to see my license and take, and pull out whatever fish/abs etc I have and throw them on my hawg trough or ab gauge....

I don't have anything to hide, I want it to be a positive experience, and try and make the most of it....and so far it always has been...regardless of whether I've had monster fish/abs or just legal ones....

Just the way I am I guess?

Sincerely,

Jim

Back in the day if you ever had to deal with the D-Head at Stillwater North you'd understand.
Every weekend that guy would give me the run around with my abs. Never in a friendly way either.
Caught the guy at 10:30 PM in the tall grass spying on our campsite one night.
One time I was walking back to the camp with my gear and abs, obviously sea sick, and he stopped me in the road and wanted to see my license and abs. I was on a first name basis with this guy and he had checked me dozens of times in the past, literally. I've always been legal.
I was puking and he told me to open my float so he could check my abs.
I replied, F#(K YOU! I'm sick, open it yourself.
That was the last time I ever stayed at SW North until 2 years ago.
He's since long gone.
So, you knew Prozac Mike? He made me deflate my inflatable and remove the floorboards in a driving rain storm. Heard he is now a cop in Alaska.

General Fishing Tips / Re: Jenner crabbing?
« on: January 16, 2016, 11:27:04 AM »
I have humped my gear down the path at Carmanet, just south of Jenner, on a super calm day. Half mile paddle out to sandy bottom and 100' depth. Crabs there when open.

I have some mesquite logs straight from Texas I go from Megan's fathers buddy, he drove his RV out from Texas with a wheel barrel load in the back compartment!!!!! Everytime I drive back I pick some up but its been awhile!!! I'm having a hard time finding a fn brisket, half the people I talk to say " a what " lmao
Not a fan of the store, but I have found whole briskets at the Wallyworld in the past. I smoked a 16 pounder for our Christmas dinner. Started it at 8:00 Christmas eve and tended it overnight. Done to 185 at 10:00 am Christmas day.
