I hope to have a keg of Harvest Ale and a keg of Pale for next year.

I HIGHLY advise all to get themselves a bottle (or case ;) ) of this years Harvest Ale (wet hop beer).  It is spectactular.

Hey Mol,
I want to brew a batch or two this winter. I'm sure there's many more out there, just wanted to ask if you've got any leads on a good starter kit or words of advice?

Z

Check you IMs.  But yes, there are a plentitude of decent starter kits these days.  Homebrewing has advanced by leaps and bound in the last 10 years.

One bit of advise that I give to all beginners, spend the money to get a kettle that can boil your entire brew rather than boiling concentrated wort and diluting with water later.  You will thank me for that bit of advice.

I also encourage brewers to all grain as soon as possible, as I feel the flavor and creativity is superior.

I was listening to 1530 outdoor show and they Mentioned the Mendo Tourney and talked about

the event and how " 53 " strippers were caught and talked about " The advantages " of using a kayak

for chasing Boils, and I don't remember any boils being reported, this guy said " The President "

of the club said  they sat on a " Boil " for a 1/2 hour!!!!!!  code of silence :smt002

I'm sure they got the recent report mixed with the tourney,

But Kool they were talking about it .............. Danglin
