We're tentatively planning to host the Awards Ceremony for the 2017 competitions on Feb 10 at Clear Lake state park.
We'll post a confirmation within the next few days.
Hope to get a nice turnout at this new location!

For anyone who has not been there, if you take the Hopland (on 101) turnoff to Clear Lake, it is a very windy road. So slow down and take your time.

Hey everyone,

The committees have met and have decided to host the 2017 AOTY/DOTY awards on February 10 at Clear Lake State Park.  We will be reserving one or more of the group campsites for the event, so feel free to pitch a tent and stay Sat night if you want.  The sites will be reserved for Saturday night only.

More details to follow.  I'm interested in running a friendly AOTD MBF event on the morning of 2/10, if enough people are interested in that we can do it as well.  Let me know if you're interested by replying to this thread.

Friendly MBFs mean no pictures "required", scoring is self reported based upon the honor system.  We would have to check in before the awards start though.

OK. Let me rephrase. Are the group sites next to sites 132 and 133. The only group sites I see are there on the map...don't see any group sites labeled as A and B.

Here is a map with the two group sites that we have reserved boxed in red.

Should be fine for at least 80 of us to celebrate and spend the night if you want.
