It seems like a hybrid between a kayak and a pontoon kick boat.

Those are great boats for moving water, you can stop and stand up without having to anchor the boat as long as you can touch the bottom.

Love mine, came down to a Watermaster or the Outcast for me, not a fan of Scadden stuff. Got mine for steelhead and trout fishing norcal. I've been  on the Rogue, Trinity, Klamath, Pit, Sac, and Yuba on mine and it's held up great.

As Scott mentioned being able to just stop and start fishing is nice and it's deadly. As you're basically standing in giant inner tube, it will give you confidence to wade a little deeper, especially nice on a certain section of the Pit we run. Steelhead fishing I mostly use it for transpo of me, my fleet of spey rods and beer. Unless it's a big wide river with little rapids, like the Sac or AR, I will always choose it over a kayak.
