I picked up a fiberglass Vitog Nomad thanks to user Eiboh at a great price. I know a few on this board have them and a friend has a near new condition board that is nearly 40 years old. Looking for info or websites on their history. Mine is serial #132 No year on the plate. No obvious repairs and just needed a good cleaning. I paddled her on the Napa river this week.  A lot different from my OK trident 15. Almost tipped a couple of times, but it moves nicely through the water. Anyone have a good information source for these old boards?

Sweet Ride. As you know we have two of them. Both are set up receive kayak seats, transducer holders, FF/GPS mounts, paddle holders,  and rod holders. Yes, they can be tippy but boy are they fast. If you could some how add seat scuppers I would still be rocking this dive borard more often.

I will check the serial numbers on mine as well as the date and get back to you. l will dig around ..... scan and post some old photos.

Let's use these at the Simply Fishing Tourney

I'm up for using the Vitog at Simply Fishing. Anyone else want to join the "Vitog Navy"?

So I didn't use the Vitog at Simply for a couple of reasons. The weather looked iffy a few days before and secondly, Being 6'2", I don't think it would be super comfortable for 5-6 hrs. I have dove off of it several times and I paddled it several times over the weekend at Van Damme. This thing is fast. Only modifications I have made is to add a few clip off points to the back hatc for a gear bag while diving.
Otobepelagic, I would enjoy seeing a picture of one of your rigged Vitogs.

I was thinking about mounting a couple of yak attack gear rails. Wont have too high of a profile and gives me options.
