For Sale / 2019+ Outback Rudder Upgrade

Hey guys. Just wanted to throw it out there that I have 2 models of upgrades for the new outback Rudders. The SAI Super Rudder is a close copy of the stock but made of aluminum making it more rigid. The SAI Super Rudder XL is 2" longer giving you more rudder authority and a tighter turn radius. Thanks for looking.

He guys, just wanted to post here in case you guys are interested. I am selling a mount that spans both rails of the 2019 and later Outbacks. The first model is designed for the Scotty mount which can then incorporate rod holders, crab pot pulley, or laketroller downrigger. Using both rails adds a tremendous amount of stability.

Currently only taking PayPal. $35 shipped includes the plate and hardware. Scotty mount not included.

Kayak Diving and Spearfishing / Wetsuit thickness for diving?

I am about to pull the trigger on a wet suit combo that is 7mm farmer John and a 7mm jacket. That makes 14mm over the torso! A buddy of mine says that's what's needed for our 50 degree water. The reviews say it's a good temp but can be very bouyant. Any opinions for NorCal diving wetsuit thickness?

General Fishing Tips / Albion crab/rock fish

Hey guys, I have a trip booked to Albion early December and since I have never been there I am looking for guidance. I am hoping to drop some crab traps in the morning, rockfish all day, and collect the traps at the end of the day. Is there rock/ sand structure at Albion to support such a mission? Any assistance is appreciated and even company is very welcome!

General Talk / Mirage drive adjustment?

I am familiar with the search function and Google but I can't seem to figure out what the purpose of the Allen screws at the end of the fin masts are for. Just swapped to turbo fins and I don't know what to do with them. I am certain this has been asked many times but I must not know the proper terminology because I don't see anything.

Gearing Up and Rigging Up / Salt water corrosion maintenance

How do you guys prevent or deal with the damage of salt water on your fish finder connections? I'm pretty good about rinsing everything the minute I get home but my connections are obviously not happy. I was thinking a good cleaning then some die electric grease but thought I would ask the masses.

Fish Talk / Fort Bragg halibut?

Going to fort Bragg in a couple weeks and was wondering if I could get some Intel on the halibut grounds. We are hitting Caspar cove for lings but would like to go for butts too. Any advise?
