Chuck - I went to Aquan (they carry SEDA) and I asked if they could get this particular kayak on the Paddle Fest for demo...the employees just stared at each other and said "you'll have to ask our boss....but he's not in today"  :smt011

great  :smt009

Seda's are nice..."Hecho in Mexico" so as I understand quality is inconsistent....sometimes great, sometimes not.  They also appear to be a bit heavy for the type and price of boat.  I agree though that they do have some appeal.

I should be getting some Kaskazi's on Weds. that are similar, but believe it or not slightly narrower!  Can't wait to try them out.

Hey Guys,

Which Seda boat are you looking at? We have a couple in our rental fleet and I've paddle all of Seda's boats. I can also make sure to have specific models at Paddlefest this year. I'm off to OR in a couple of weekes and will be testing out just about every manufacturers new boats that will become available.

The Revenge is a fast solid boat with lots of room. I'll make sure Seda brings one down for Paddlefest.

one thing I don't like about this one is that the edge of the sit-in cockpit is sharp.

could make hanging your legs over the side uncomfortable.

Pricey compared to the Kaskazi Dorado and Macski Kingfisher though--by at least a grand. I don't think it will surf as well either whcih is my personal reason for looking  at these boats besides speed and the customizability of fibreglas.
