Delta report 10-26-15

Fun Monday on the delta. Very little wind, decent outgoing tide, clear water, pleasant temperatures - and the fish were biting. Landed 3 in the first 15 mins. Fished Franks Tract area. Best fish a 4 lb striper.

Lots of largemouth too, although most were on the small side. Used a smallish chart/white clouser all day, and they seemed to like it. Weed beds & tule banks better than rock walls.

Maybe we'll have a good season. BTW, Striperfest event is November 7 at Sugar Barge Marina. Sign up at www.danblanton.com if you want to eat some good BBQ & support the striped bass fishery.

Nice Bill, glad to see you're out and getting them. I've had some tough luck on the delta recently even with lots of good reports.

Napa and O'neill have been very good though.
