Dear fellow-Asian-Brother-Stuart,

I don't want to hear any complaints from you  :smt013  :smt018  . WHY? Cause at this point, you are the only guy who's caught 2 keeper salmon.

Stay home and pay attention to your dog  :smt003  :smt002 take him for a walk or something....

Alright Joel, kharma has turned bad on you.

You are now destined to encounter fierce afternoon winds :smt016

You will forget your drift sock, while the others will be prepared and have good reports.

Since it looks like we are getting a big group together = I'll bring my BBQ grill and get some hotdogs going after the fishing expedition - feel free to bring some other meat to grill and some beer to drink. I'll bring my "special" apron.  :cook

Do you launch from the ramp or is there a better launch spot? Does the marina sell live bait?

You can launch from the launch ramp or by the flag pole - there's a paved walk way that leads to the bay and there's plenty of parking right in front of it. (you'll see it on the right side when you drive towards the launch ramp) I never had to pay to launch at the ramp. The launch by the flag pole is easier when the tide is high. Having wheels would help speed up the process.

The baitshop right by the launch ramp does sell live bait - but call before you get there = they sometimes run-out.

I passed by OP on my way back from SF today(around noon).  A dozen + boats working the area including a couple party boats.  They seemed to be more concentrated in front of the piers near candlestick. Slight breeze but the weather looked beautiful out there, tomorrow should be awesome, wish I could go.
