There is a good tide tomorrow to get a ride up into sausalito and back. Elrics buddy on the golden eye says there is tons of bait in there and a lot of striper. This area is well enough protected on tomorrows west wind so it should be pleasant. Im kind of flip-flopin' though with the oyster point halibut reports Im hearing....but I think the wind will be more of an issue there tomorrow. I just talked to the guy at the OP shop and he said they have been doing pretty well- one guy pulled a 40lber out in yesterday's slop. company welcome- Elric, what ya up to?

Here are the Oyster Point tides for Friday:

Low   4:57 AM......... 0.6.....   5:56 AM..Sunrise
High  10:59 AM....... 4.9.....   8:17 PM...Sunset
Low    4:26 PM........  1.6
High  10:41 PM ...... 7.0

Jeff, I might be up for OP, but I wouldn't be able to launch till around 9am.  I would try to make bait with my throw net before I go.

The moderate tide change should be decent for halibut.  I'll keep my eye on the wind forecast.  That 40lber might have a twin brother out there.

Jeff,

I'll try to see if my buddy drifted Sausalito again today. Otherwise, alot of the site are saying Oyster Point is the place for butts or Alameda rockwall for stripers.
On Anglernet, someone reported a WSB off the Sausalito rockwall.
Let's keep in touch, but i'm definately down for Fri.

Couldn't get a hold of my buddy, so I think Oyster Pt is where to go. I might have 3 people coming w/ me.
I'm telling everyone to get there at 7am. I might be a lil late as i'm going to a concert - the Saw Doctors at Bimbo's so don't be surprised if i'm a lil late. On the outgoing, we can try the Brisbane tubes for stripers.
I'll check this thread again, later tonite.

Good luck to all at Oyster Point.  If I can't make it, I just might go to the Alameda instead. Coastside reports at least four halibut over 20lbs were landed there this afternoon :smt041
