I felt obligated to do some research for the group. Caught this 22 pounder on a flying c and one smaller one that lived to see another day jigging. See yall in the morning.

Headwaters Crew is all packed and ready to go. Geoff was not able to bring his Smoker so I will be there with my little webber. We have a set of Wheeleez for the Trash prize and a bunch of copies of Kayak Fish Magazine thanks to Paul Lebowitz. See you guys in the AM!

I just finished a survey of the Lower American, and Howe was the place to be (only the basin had higher catch rates).  The bite was far from wide open, but fish were being caught and there were tons of fish rolling.  I think the cool temps tonight might give us a nice bite window early in the AM.
