Carmel 3/4/2007

Sunday, we headed out for a family trip to Carmel.  Weather was forecast to be unseasonable warm and calm.  So, I downgraded the kayak, and packed a bodyboard and dive gear.

aw, nothing like childhood memories of the beach!  i having a new jersey shore flashback now, circa 1973.

Is it legal to catch rockfish right now?????

Shore-based anglers and divers can harvest rockfish year-round.

Looks like I chose the wrong beach that day.   

Knew diving would be a good match - combines 2 of your favorite things... fish & shooting stuff.   

Way to go Stuart!I was hoping one of you guys would take advantage of the tiny swell action and relatively clear water right now.I can't wait 'til May.
