so took a long lunch and launched storm baits from the breakwater near brickyard for an hour-- result?  3 nice fatties-- one 22-24, another slightly smaller, and another just barely legal(ish).  
Moved over to loch lomond jetty-- still had half hour left...another legal, and a dink.

that brings me into double digits in three trips now!

Planning on playin hooky tomorrow and launching from loch lomond for some more action.

Nice work!  :smt023. I never caught a Halibut on a lure - how did it strike? And how did you work the lure? Did you just drag the bottom or did you hop it?

Pa'a.... I think he was referring to Stripers... if these were Halibut that would be unheard of.

ah-- stripers-- though this time last year I watched a guy catch two butts in a row from lochlomond jetty on a hair raiser...

butts hit kinda like a big ling -- bump, bendo...caught a few on lures from shore...including a nice one last year in May off muir
