I dont see any more shade being thrown than when someone posts a pic with no pfd or cold water immersion gear lol.

I dont care for his personal safety at all, im all about doing dumb shit in a calculated fashion....their response to the fin was classic and kook.

Agreed...  Not hating at all and I do watch his videos a lot.  I think it is the perceived naivete that bugs me more than anything.  Dont want to see anything bad happen to seemingly good-hearted people.

That looks like a 12' zodiac with hard floor.  Those usually have 3-5 air chambers, and I can attest that you feel pretty bulletproof in those things.. but 13 miles... yeah, that's more than I would do...entertaining video tho…. and why with all that shrieking was ther eno picture of the shark? I'm agree... mola mola….

I dont see anything bad about it except for the fact that they didn't bring and an extra 5 gallons of gas.  Heck, I have been 9 miles offshore in my kayak.  Along as you have your life vests and other safety gear like a radio and compass, I dont see anything wrong with it.  On a flat day, I would go 20 miles if I knew I had enough gas.
