Does anyone have some suggestions on charters in the LA to San diego area? I'm looking at probably a 1/2 since my girlfriend will be going and something that isn't going to break the bank.

Thanks
Matt

I went out on the chewbasco 2 with the family when I was down in San Diego area. First day was so much fun we went back for a second day! Great crew, hot galley with drinks too. We were flylineing sardines in the kelp for whatever would bite. Caught more calico bass than we could count along with a few yellowtail and some miscellaneous other fish.

It’s a cattle boat, but when we went mid week there were not very many people on it.

If you look at socalfishreports you can look at the boat counts and get an idea of what boats are doing what.

Here’s a shot of Sam with a fish that shows the bait tank set up and what the working area of the boat is like.
