I did a double take of the picture.  Doesn't that look like whitey's dorsal fin in the background?!

Now that you mention it, it does look like a fin at first glance.

Actually, that might be me behind the swell.  I was near JTF when he hooked-up and lost a possible derby winning ling.

Yes, it might have been a derby winner and I lost it, but, I learned something more valuable at Elk this last year.  No matter how much a girl tells you that you can hang out with the boys if she tags along and she'll just read and walk her dog its not true.   :smt012  JTF..

That's why you stick her in a kayak and have ger tag along. After last years Elk conditions reading and walking her dog would seem like heaven to her. Or else she might think you are a bit touched in the head and will just let you hang with the boys solo.
