Very stoked to announce that for the THIRD year in a row Wilderness Systems will be donating a brand new kayak for the AOTY/DOTY participation raffle!!!
:smt007 :smt004 :smt007
This year the prize will be a Tarpon 120, most likely in the sexy AF Midnight color!!

HUGE thanks to RacinRob and WS for making this killer prize a reality!!!
As a reminder to AOTY/DOTY players, you get one ticket in the raffle for paying your entry fee, and then one additional ticket for each AOTY and DOTY species you have approved:
Each participant in AOTY/DOTY will automatically receive one entry into a raffle once they pay the $40 entry fee. Participants can receive up to 20 additional raffle entries for each species submitted and approved in both AOTY and DOTY. 21 entries into the raffle will be the max that any player can have. The goal of the raffle is to encourage participation and friendly competition amongst those anglers and divers that may not be able to invest the amount of time needed to finish in the top three. Raffle Prize TBD.
I have 18 tickets so far and am keeping my fingers crossed!! :smt003 :smt005

Sincerely,
Jim

Thanks Rob and Wilderness. If you win Jim you can store it at my house since you canÂ’t be seen on a competitors kayak.

That's a really sweet ride! Thank you Wilderness Systems!
Not enough gets said about these sponsors, but I really appreciate them stepping up to support our community and members!
Now I have to try and sneak out to get a few AOTY species & max out my tickets. :)

Monkey and coppers up there too...
Sheep only down here, abs only up there....
All the rest of the species are both north and south of the gate...
With top 15 format no need for you to go south of gate and can still get 15 high point species.
For the participation raffle tix you could use a rod and reel and catch species for tix if wanted.

DOTY and Aoty separate registration fees?

DOTY and Aoty separate registration fees?
Nope. One $40 fee let's you play both. :smt001
Just need to create an account on the DOTY site since the two sites don't interface.

Ok folks...
Please take a look at the attachments and if you see that I have made any mistakes with the number of AOTY or DOTY species you entered that were approved (or any other mistakes) please let me know.
I will have my daughters start helping me write up the 700 tix. :smt005
Cod Almighty got the most tix this year with a grand total of 20 (1 for paying his $40, 6 DOTY species, and 13 AOTY species).
Great job Nick!!!

Consider using a random number generator to save you and your daughters some work :smt005
There are a bunch of free ones in the app store. Give each person a range of numbers equal to how many tickets they have (e.g. Cod Almighty will have 1-20, BigJim 21-38, and so on), bring a list of everyone's ranges, and use the random number generator on your phone to give you a random number from 1-700 for each drawing. Would be totally random and less work for you and your daughters!
Just a suggestion :smt006

That sounds like it would be above my intellectual paygrade.
:smt002 :smt005 :smt044 :smt044
Thanks for the idea though...if daughters complain too much I may give it a try...
Figure it's good character building for them to help out...and I supervise...
