Here are the sites I use:

http://historicals.ncd.noaa.gov/historicals/histmap.asp older navigational charts - these are huge and give depth contours, channel locations, ect.

http://mapserver.maptech.com/homepage/index.cfm? new underwater topo maps, including locations of kelp, rocks, reefs, ect.  Not so user-friendly.  Some areas have poor coverage.

http://terraweb.wr.usgs.gov/projects/SFBaySonar/CentralBay_cc/  this one's just cool, map of west-bay.

http://walrus.wr.usgs.gov/morphology/prelim.html  rockfish, anyone?

http://www.californiacoastline.org/ aerial recon of beaches to find launches, kelp, coves, ect.

http://www.kayaker.net/ not fishing related, but provides a good list of launch sites and interesting local kayak info.
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they call Gitche Gumee
Superior, they said, never gives up her dead
When the gales of November come early.

The Sturgeon Triangle in the Fish Sniffer Map is not a totally accurate area to go by. You  can also catch strugeon well inside the Pumphouse Corner of the triangle, towards Hamilton Flats. Two weeks ago (March 14th)  they were catching stripers and sturgeon in four feet of water closer to Hamilton Flats than the triangle corner at the Pumphouse.
