Crash suggests: Id encourage people keeping Friday fish for gyotaku to ikejime their fish to stave off rigor. As I recall fish in rigor don’t make as nice of a print.

See you all there!

Wind nor pouring rain stopped us!   Campground owner Jack allowed us to set up in the Pavillion providing us a sheltered and roomy space to print fish and have room for anyone not fish printing to enjoy their lunch while watching TV.  As the GS tournament was cancelled (good call Eric!), we set up earlier and extended the time for people to create art.  Gratitude goes out to my rock star Team Gyotaku Extravaganza volunteers Christine, Scott, Lawana and Trina all stayed to assist throughout (three of the four volunteers even came over the hill just to help out with this event!) and to Codzilla/Jeff & Hojoman/Howard who bring tables for me to use for the event. And this event is not complete with out participants. All ages of kids showed up from 7 month old to ??? to participate in the event - and art was made! Thank you all for participating! A HUGE thank you to those who purchased shirts and gave donations to help with supply costs to keep this event going!  Finally, thanks to Eric and Jack who are incredibly supportive of this event every year.

If you were not able to join us this year either as a participant and/or volunteer, there is always next year!!

Ever present Hojoman captured most if not all of the participants and their fish prints. Scott, Eric and myself captured some images when we were able.

A big thanks to you and your team for making it happen.  My son James was beyond stoked and loves his new fishing rod.
