No doubt. If you wanna get hella asian status you have to bring a rice cooker to the next fishin' and chillin' event. (and make sure to bring Japanese style rice. No basmati )

Mike - since I couldn't be there to share in the campfire tales of ghost encounters, favorite fishing lures, lost loves, alien abductions, fishing adventures, hot cars, UFO sightings, fishing exagerations, power tool injuries, etc., etc. - I thought the least I could do was to contribute a classic camping - axe murder story.

I'm sorry - I didn't think Adam would take it seriously and sabotage his Roni to avoid a possible enocunter with the
Roni-gang!!!!!   

BTW, to be hella asian, you cant use a rice cooker, you have to start a fire by rubbing two chopsticks together, wash the rice in lake water and cook it in an iron pot. Then of course, season it with your home made furikake.

Found this really cool, old, blast from the past post and thought dang these guys did it right. Lake Sonoma is where I was introduced to kayak fishing and it will always be a special place for me. Thanks for that Mike.
