Shark sightings posts, safety issue?

Yesterday I was thinking I need to start hitting the local coastline to put fish in the freezer when I bumped into a veteran sea kayaker friend who told me about the CG sighting of the shark cluster near Pacifica

Of all the safety posts that get put up here, info about twenty big sharks cruising the local coastline seems pretty relevant as a safety issue

Given that info I wouldn't be caught dead launching Linda Mar at the moment

Maybe if the CG makes their aerial photos public maybe it would help make it more real

I thought this pretty much followed suit w the shark shield and Alcatraz incident posted by , but if the mods still don't see this as a safety issue let me know and I'll pull it

Definitely changed my plans for the week, and maybe for the rest of the season

unless I can make time this week to go up to Dux once more I may hang up the gear until next year
