Not to get all political, but this simple little thing could be saving SO MANY lives right now in the Mediterranian Sea.

As much as I disagree with the usefulness of it (can't activate if unconscious or can't stay afloat if fatigued), at least it's another safety option for folks on the water.

Definitely no substitute for a proper PFD, but I guess every bit of flotation helps when the sh*t hits the fan...
