This was the best one yet. So much food. Fireworks. Puppies. Huge lingcod. The potluck was incredible. Thank you all for being a big part of our lives. I want to thank Alan and Andrea Lawson for dealing with the clothes. Victor and Erik for doing the raffle and providing us all with humor and hard work. Linelle for holding down the fort. It was all just perfect. Everyone had a hand n making this happen. Without all of you it would be nothing. It made my heart feel good to just take in all the happiness and good times. Thanks again everyone.
The tournament was dicey and we had one incident but it all turned out good.

Thanks again to all who registered and bought raffle tickets. A lot of money was poured into this years event but the Albion fire dept will get at least 3,500 +. Great job everyone. See you all next year!!!!

YEP, BEST ALBION EVER !
I didn't even fish, but cemented friendships, watched my boy have fun and learn and just had an amazing time.
I'll say it up front, the way the NCKA crew treats the ladies is top notch! Amy has so much fun she cant wait for the next thing with the the crew :)

NCKA events are so great because it just seems everyone 'gets' me. Ha! My humor, my hobbies, interests, food, etc. I'm usually a loner and don't get along all that well with people, especially family, but when I am at Albion with the NCKA crowd, everyone seems to get along and having a great time. A great time of fellowship! Thanks for hosting the event and a special thanks to Tote for telling me about it years ago and convincing me I'd fit in.

Indeed! What a great weekend, so happy you changed the format, no prize $ etc. It was great to hear people walking around saying I'm stuffed at the potluck. Albion rocks, only thing that could make it better is the return of Jedmo Nation!

The Albion three egg sushi hand role. fresh salmon roe from the only king Salmon caught on game day, donated by Stephen. Thank you for that! And the fresh qual eggs from Pole Pole (Allen) urban bird farm and the store bought tobiko . We were hoping for some fresh uni, but it was just not in good season. I missed the eggs and I missed SkiPro Jerry!
First time I've ever gone to a tourney and not fished it.
I can guarantee I had more fun in camp.
I believe I suffered a food coma on Friday night.
Entered the tournament but did not fish, brought something to the potluck but did not eat from it, entered the raffle but did not win anything yet still had the best time ever.
It was definitely the shot in the arm I needed.
And on a final note (Ariel does it best) GODDAMMIT LOGAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :smt044

I had an extremely great time hanging out with my friends. What a treat to just do really nothing but visit and cook and eat.
My personal highlight of the weekend was helping Jack and crew with the Taco Shack. Very rewarding when peeps respond with giant smiles (and cold beer gifts).
My campmates, Sarah, Tiny/Momma, Stevie/Alma & the girls, kayakjack & The Spaniard (sorry I stole your beer(repeatedly)) made this a weekend to remember. I had a ton of fun!! Can't wait till next year. :smt002

100% agree with EVERYONE that this Year's Albion was off the Hook. Only regret I have is not making Christina and Santino come along. Think they would've froze tho! :smt005

This was my first trip to Albion but it won't be my last. Although I didn't fish, I had a blast. Just getting to know all the people I met was worth the trip. Ski Pro, Grumpy Bass, Antonio, Rob and all the others in upper C-section made the trip worth it. Like Jerry said. Everyone just understands me and made me feel welcomed. I learned a lot about what I needed to fish the ocean.
The pot luck was amazing. Jack and his crew made the best fish tacos I've ever eaten. Everything was great. Thanks to everyone who contributed.
And to top it off, for me to win the Hummingbird Fish finder just topped off the weekend.
Thanks to everyone for making this the best weekend I've had in a long time.

Had a great time and I didn't even catch a fish! I did venture up river for the very first time and I have to admit, it was worth it!
It was great hanging with the crew and all the usual dudes! Never a boring time with the NCKA crew. Another Albion trip in the books and looking forward to next year already.
Thanks Craig and Linelle for all your hard work to make this happen. And another big thanks to Jedmo for helping us out with the poke!

Since it was built in WWII most steel was going to war effort so they used redwood for most of it.
