Can you have bonfire at the campsite? I can see it now, fish on a branch crackling over a nice open flame, as we pass the branch around and pick at it. Yum

Yes I was reading that a few of the boat-in camp beaches have camp fires allowed as long as we have a national parks permit.

I will make sure we have everything we need for the group as far as beach camp reservations to accommodate 15 to 30 people, bonfire/campfire permits, and also aiming for getting a camp with toilet facility. Also figuring out where the best place for multi day parking and kayak launch.

This fish and camp will be in mid 2017 and I will try my best to not schedule around any NCKA tournaments and events.

2017 Target months are May-June-July and will try my best to make sure it does not interfere with NCKA tournaments and events.

Will research 2016 fishing reports in the area and check regulations on what will be open during those months.

Looks like I am not able at the moment to reserve dates in any of those months because it to soon to reserve. At the moment they only have reservation open up to early March 2017 which by the way have full availability. I will keep tabs on the reservations to make sure we get the reservations we need.

Tomales Beach and Marshall Beach are the two boat-in camp sites that will accommodate large groups up to 25 people.

Will post a Poll on what months and dates work for everyone in Nov or Dec.

This sounds like fun have you had any luck deciding we're to lanch and park am not familiar with the areas mentioned what is the distance roughly
I was fishing with friends yesterday they were rowing no way they could keep up is this a doable distance   For peddled and paddle
I was running at ten miles a hour and could have gone faster in my AI
I know it's not a race  just an observation I like the concept
glade you made it
now let's get our fish on

I'd be stoked to paddle over and see you guys at the Tomales camp site and take a break from staring at sand.

I was just wondering where this post went.

I'm in for some camping!

Actually looking at going in a couple weeks to crab and sturgeon fish.

Was waiting till this week to call and reserve a group site and ask questions of where to safely park vehicles for the group over the designated weekend.

Will update with current info and developments by Thursday.
