After seeing dilbeck's post about SJ Family Camp in Groveland, and speaking with him about it, thought I'd take the wife there and commune with nature.  We're also gonna meet a couple Bruin classmates.

Anyone wanna offer any fishing, hiking, sightseeing pointers?  I plan on fishing the stretch of the Tuol that runs near the camp Fri night and Sat morning or night.  Sat, we'll prolly run into Yosemite to do a day hike.

Gonna leave the boats at home.  May post upon return, if there's anything worth posting.

Not sure how much river fishing experience you have, but feel free to give me a call.

Looks like I wont be getting any additional experience.  Just got called by SJFC, cancelling my reservation.  Something about a contaminated well or tank.  Maybe a prankster went :pottytrain5: in the water source.  Sucks, now i'm stuck finding alternative accommodations

Dude, call me!  There is a hotel RIGHT NEXT DOOR to SJFC and you'll still have access to all of the river that runs through family camp.  I'll have to dig up the name online but will be a cinch.  It will cost a tad more and food won't be provided but it is literally right next door.
