Not for me.. :smt012   My wife finally decided she wanted to go with a SOT so we are selling her current boat.   I checked the demo sale mailer from Clavey and were going to get her the tarpon 120 but when we got down there, the 140 was in better shape..  virtually n o dings or scratches.. so we picked that up.   I think it will be better in the long run anyway for like 75 bucks more.   Good price, not her best color (urban camo) but it looks good.

We thought about hitting sonoma this am but from what I read, yorty is no longer connected to the rest of the lake..  ( not sure if thats true but I didnt want to chance it)  and thought around the dam area would be a zoo on labor day so we went over to spring lake.

Boat handled great.. no water in the bottom with her paddling, tho I got a bit though the scuppers when I took it out.   Seat is nice.    Not as  light or fast as her SINK but I think this will be safer  and easier on tomales..  definately easier to self rescue.   Maybe I will even talk her into going to FR and staying in close.

Vs.  my Native manta ray 14, the tarpon seat is noticeably a couple inches higher so it took a few strokes to get used to but it seems lighter and faster.. maybe a bit tippier when just sitting.    Also easier to sit sideways on.

Been forever since Ive posted here!

And grats on the new boat Jeremy!  I have not tried the 160.. sounds like it should move right along tho!

Nice boat she got. They are fast and easy to paddle. The two bungee straps behind the seat work best if you twist them bedore hooking to those two ad eyes. I notice they arent hooked up in the picture. Looks like the color is actually Desert Camo. Wildy does not have an Urban Camo.

We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

People aren’t supposed to look back. I’m certainly not going to do it anymore.”

thanks for the heads up on that.. Im gonna give it a try.   Those straps were so loose that they didnt stay at all in the back eye hooks,  but they are fine when hooking the seat forward for travel.   I have yet to even think about what she will need on it.. the rail system looks like an easy solution for a couple things.

Was also wondering about the urban camo..  it was listed as that on claveys flier but I hadnt heard of that.    Kind of a cool look at any rate!

It's hard to tell from the picture. It is either desert camo or regular camo. If I saw a different angle I would know for sure. There is a new color called Flint also, but that is on the newest boats coming out now. Looks a little like that.
