WTB, Rent, or borrow- Shark Shield Freedom 7

Ive chartered a trip with Loleta Eric for this August and am super excited. I had hoped the Shark Shield I've ordered from Ocean Guardian would be shipped to me by the trip, but it does not look likely. If anyone has one in good conditon they are willing to part with, I would be happy to pick-up/pay cash.

Alternatively, if anyone wants to loan me theirs or rent it to me for the weekend of August 22nd it would make me feel a lot better about taking two friends on the ocean who are primarily freshwater anglers. Two of the three of us that may be going have young ones, and thus have been a bit more cautious and deliberate about trips into the big blue. I'm sure we would be fine without, but having one amongst us would provide some added peace of mind.

I know this is a unique ask, but figured it was worth a shot.

Im from pacifica I have one you can borrow.

You can borrow mine too, although it typically only lasts about 4.5 hours. My older kid has to go to Vallejo once in a while and could drop off in Concord, but I don’t think he knows his mid-to-late August schedule yet.

Also, I’d suggest trying to get one SS for each angler, as sharing might not be all that helpful.

I would say I’m blown away by the generosity of this group, but I’ve come to learn that people here are uniquely kind, community oriented, and generous.
