For Sale / 2011 Hobie Adventure Island
« on: February 28, 2020, 06:24:32 AM »
2011 Hobie AI comes with trampolines, 2 seats, tons of rod holders, and has turbo fins.

Boat was a demo so it’s stamped in a couple of places. Overall great shape, normal scratches on the hull and 1 or 2 trampoline buckles are broken (I think one). The sail and mast are in excellent shape and the mast receiver got new bearings when I bought it. Includes AKA bag, mast bag and rudder cover.

$2k

Call or text Cody at 707-344-8480

Thanks, been a great kayak for me! Just don't use it anymore and need the space.

Lots of craigslist interest, but no ones showed up yet to get it. Come test it out at berryessa in the beautiful weather we've been having!

Just checked online, looks like 124 is gone, site 9 up the way is available. I'd call on 124 though, their system is screwy I think, and it may still show I'm in it.

There hasn’t been a anyone at Steele canyon for a while. I saw two campers right after the storm, but no one else. I think they’re pretty good about letting people in early as well, if not there are 2 decent launch sites before the park, I’ve never had mine broken into down there, and there’s parking for probably 10-15 cars along the road.

I’m pretty sure the folks that own pleasure own Steele now. Or maybe they’re the ones selling it. I can’t keep track, but the lady at the gate had a pleasure cove shirt on when I dropped by.

Last I looked were 9ish feet below the glory hole, the creek is running good into the lake by Steele, water is muddy from here to Spanish flat at least. I’m sure it’ll clear up by then, but the neighbors claim the catfishing and crappie fishing is prime right now, though all the bass boats I see are leaving out of markley and cappell.

With the water level right now, it may be hard getting kayaks to the water at pleasure. Camped there last year "lake site" and there wasn't actual lake access. Spanish flat from what I remember has easier lake access. I vote Steele park, but I'm biased.

Still got site 124, but checked it out last weekend and I'm not thinking my trailer will fit, if anyone has a bigger site and doesn't mind trading let me know! If not we'll figure it out  :smt044

Steele Canyon has been completely empty lately, plenty of camping room.

As of right now, site 83 is open for anyone who still needs a spot!

Site 124 came open and I grabbed it! Had a quick question though, it says it's got 10' of overhang on the back, anyone know how accurate that is? My trailers 35' hoping it'll fit.

The site I had I was able to park my 29' rv and my Jeep in the same spot.  Their spot measurements seem to be pretty accurate to me.

Thanks! I guess we'll see what happens, it's supposed to be a 27' site with 10' overhang and the trailer is 35'.

If anyone happened to grab a 40' site and doesn't want it let me know!

Can't wait for this year!

He is very lucky to get pre assigned as a load master, there are many jobs in the Air Force, good he's promised one he likes. Do you know which air frame, C-5's or C-17's? Either way there's a reasonable chance he'll wind up right back here at Travis, where I was stationed.

Make sure he takes advantage of all the benefits that suite him. A lot of the info is thrown at you at once, and it's hard to keep track/remember what and how. Make sure he spends plenty of time researching those when he gets to his duty station.

Congrats to the both of you!
