All east bay lake mussel inspection programs are bogus money grabs. Been turned away at DV once for a damp life jacket, and haven't been back at all for years. That place used to have a line of fishermen waiting to get in every Saturday. Wonder if it still does?.....Doesn't Del Valle pump in water from the delta at times? Last time I checked no where on the delta do they require mussel inspections.....EBRPD  You should be ashamed of yourselves...

If that's the case (Them pumping water in from Delta) then the inspections are just that, useless money grabs!  Oh lets not forget about ducks, geese and other waterfowl that might carry the little bastards!

Yeah, that's the bit that gets me.

Hopefully they import the inspectors from Chabot instead of the guys from Del Valle.
