Hi All,

Fairly new to the forum, but decent with the rod and in the kitchen. Just wanted to find out people's favorite way to prepare Striped Bass.

Thanks,

I like broiling with skin side down. Drizzle with olive oil, garlic, tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Then squeeze lemon on it when done.

I cook it filipino versions: sinigang, sinaing, sisig, caldereta, kilawin(ceviche), etc.  sometimes steamed or fry

Whole filet with skin on, toss flesh side down onto a hot grill for 1-2 minutes then flip so skin side is down. Salt and pepper  then top side  cook for another 7-10 minutes (on med/low or indirect heat)  , then slather with bbq sauce and serve (i tend to go sweet, kc masterpiece or sweet baby rays).

Its a good alternative to fried or tacos.
