Got out on the Merced twice last week. The 1st was slow due to crowds. The 3rd was better. Hot flies were globugs, pheasant tails, and hare's ears.

What part of the Merced is this? I've been meaning to take another trip. I thought about hitting the Sequoias soon too. Maybe Three Rivers / Potwisha area. Likely to be on foot though.

The area is below Crocker Huffman Dam near the town of Snelling.

Gonna hit the rivers around Edison Lake this weekend on foot, to fish some sweet water as well. Thanks for the pics pumping me up!!! :smt006
