Post by: Wilderness medic on March 25, 2017, 09:49:36 AM
How often do they go out? Tried there website but it says they aren't accepting anymore for this year. Any reps around here?

Hi. What exactly are you looking for. Johnson Outdoors has a new sales rep for the west coast. I will be meeting them and the general sales manager next month. Until then I might be able to help you with questions. Cheers, Craig

The proposal depends on what the company carries regularly.  If it was for ocean kayak the request to be very minimal.

We're traveling in a 3 man team starting from Juneau Alaska spearing the entire coast and ending in Cabo San Lucas. We have a high probability of a world record or several.

What's this about?
Looks like someone is going on an awesome adventure and wants to know if either ocean kayaks or manufacturers of ocean kayaks would sponsor the trip or offer free or discounted kayaks in exchange for some great exposure and video documentation of the adventure.

Thats my guess.  But I am not sponsored so what do I know.

Yeah, and when I asked Ocean Kayak for support in 2007, they readily stepped up and we caught the largest fish caught off kayaks at the time .... world records.  Dreams do come true.

Wants and putting in massive time and money are two different things.

Yep.

Never hurts to ask, all they can say is no...I think it is gonna be an amazing trip and I hope companies/manufacturers realize the potential for epicness as well.

Best of luck Gio!!
