The Hobie and Raptor G2 were sold, the Old Town Predator is still available. I washed the Predator today and took some new pictures.

I have been hibernating for a while, and recently the new Hobie Outback really draws my attention. I want to buy it, but I need the fund and space for it, and need to get my family’s blessing, who has been complaining that I have got too many toys. So I am selling all my three existing kayaks, and will get a new Outback after that. All kayaks are stored in garage all the time.

SOLD: Kayak #1 - red 2012 Hobie Revolution 13: $1150. I bought it as a near perfect demo from Sunrise in 2015, and upgraded to sail rudder, and painstakingly added 4 aluminum mounting rails with aluminum backings, which allows me to mount all kinds of the equipments easily and securely (see pic). It comes with V2 mirage drive with ST fins and Hobie paddle, which are in good condition.  I also have a GT drive with GT fins (almost new condition), and can sell it as replacement of V2 drive for $100 extra as long as I still have it. This is by far my favorite kayak that I use the most (3 to 4 times a year), and it has normal wear with no real problem at all.

Kayak #2 - Camo 2014 Old Town Predator with Lowrance Elite 4 GPS/sonar and detailed map: $750$700. I bought it new on December of 2014. Very comfortable seat and stable, just a little heavy for me to haul up and down as I get older. While great for fishing, it is even better for crabbing due to its size and stability. It comes with a Lowrance Elite 4 fish finder with Navionics map chip. Has for scotty mounts, a small ram ball mount. Two minor issues(see pics): one of the stainless screw for an eye is cross threaded and bound so I replaced to a different kind of eye (it does not affect functionality at all), also the seat back pocket cover was chewed up by some animal (the seat itself is not damaged and is in great condition), so I just cut off the pocket cover (see pic with circle, the pocket is still perfectly usable without the cover, or you can add your own cover). The price does not include paddle, and I do not have any paddle to sell (I sold all my paddles). Besides some normal wear and tear, it is in great condition.

Sold Kayak #3 - yellow 2016 Santa Cruz Raptor G2: $950: Bought it from a great NCKA member almost new, and you can see all the high quality mods done by him here: http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=73453.0. I used it only 5 times since I bought it so it is still in like new condition. Extremely stable thanks to its double haul and it uses a Hobie Mirage drive (not included in price). I have a like new GT drive with turbo fins for $350 if you like to buy it. The price also does not include paddle, and I can sell an extra little used Aqua Bound Manta Ray Carbon paddle for $120. The only problem it has is two of the plastic handles on the allen screws came off, so you need to bring an allen wrench to turn the screws. For these of you who knows about Raptors, this G2 is a great kayak that married Hobie peddle with super stability, and it is one of the kind of kayak that you will not find in the future since the company is no more. However, it does have a little prototyping kind of feel, and it is not as fast as Hobie due to the wide double haul in the back.

Pictures in next posts.

Pictures of 2014 Old Town Predator. See the two pics with circles for the too small imperfection that does not affect the functionality at all.

Wow ! Some really nice rides. I am looking forward to a new hobie this next season.

Hey, I remember that G2 kayak! You forgot to mention that it’s setup for the small Hobie sail, and it sails really well—great stability even without any outriggers. Also there’s a bunch of quality Hobie parts on it. If I had the space for another one, I’d buy that G2 back from you.

Anyways, great prices on some quality kayaks.
Please don't spoil my day, I'm miles away...

The Hobie Revo was sold with the first person coming after taking one look, in less than 20 hours of posting it. This is much easier than I thought, I should be less afraid of selling things after this :smt001.

Thank you Antonio and Mark for your kind words. Mark, thanks a lot for the details that I did not include in my post. When I get time, I will add more details to show people how nice a kayak this really is.

Dave, I still have the G2, and just PMed you.

yakyakyak, thanks for the plug! This was also heavily customized by NowhereMan, and the mod quality really shows if you take a look at it.

Dave, thanks for coming to pick up the G2, and it was great meeting and talking with you! Looking forward to slay some butts with you once I pick up a new kayak.

Now come to think about it, I think I still have the raincheck from the original G2 owner Mark on going fishing for butts together at Santa Cruz, need to cash it in someday :smt001.
