Make reservation here Sonny. They will call back to confirm. They will assign the campsite. I have not tried but maybe you can request for a specific site. It’s good that they don’t charge by person like how Jack used to do it. I’m paying $95 for 4 people from Thurs-Sun

Any changes at the camp ground?

New owners - Jack finally sold.  They're cool and very business-like.  I expect that reservations and delivery will be reliable and straight forward.  There will not be any kind of pay per person, like Jack would do.  It's strictly a campground transaction.

As for the potluck and awards, plus raffle, I have rented the pavilion and patio, so we are set for that - including Jack's Taco Shack!

This thread certainly hasn't lived the life of past GS threads, but I hope that those who are following are as stoked as I am for what we're putting together for the weekend of May 11th.   :smt001

Do you have the camp ground reservation contact number?  Thanks  Eric.

Full moon phase has got every koke lake that’s on my radar in a funk. This full moon seems particularly hard, especially for me at whiskeytown.

UPDATE: 4/24/2024

Catching up with registration but the event is starting to fill up. We have a good line up of events for the day. We will be adding two seminars from 10-1 p.m. for those who want to partake in the festivities but don't have a kayak or just want to learn more about Kayak Fishing.

1) Halibut Fishing Seminar (TLA)
2) Kayak Fishing 101 MooMoo Outdoors and Drew

We will also be provided with Music from DJ Sonny V from the Frisco Crabber Guys. Looking to add a few additional vendors to get a more festive feel for the event. Been trying to build up this event over the years for something everyone can enjoy -- Fish or no Fish.

Hope you see you guys all there! --TLA

Nice boat.
I might be looking for one soon, depending on where I retire to.

Paul

Retire in San Jose. Then you have great points to cover north and south. :smt001

Unless you plan on retiring in Alaska. That's a no brainer. :smt003

Thank you, Alex
My wife and I compromised, and we have been looking around Sonoma County (Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, and Windsor) lately.   We would like to move within the next five months.

Paul

Congrats !

Look forward to reports from your new area soon.
