General Fishing Tips / Re: Neoprene Wrist Gasket Replacement
« on: April 15, 2024, 08:53:24 PM »I was extremely reluctant to get a drysuit, as I've always had issues with latex rubber gloves. If I put on latex gloves, my hands turn red and skin gets itchy, and worse. So, when I got my first drysuit, I was planning on replacing the wrist gaskets, but miraculously, the latex wrist gaskets on my Kokatat (semi)drysuit don't seem to bother my skin.
Anyways, are there silicone rubber wrist gaskets? I seem to recall seeing some when I was thinking that I'd need to replace my wrist gaskets.
Yes, there are silicon wrist gaskets.
I am not experienced.

This was what Kokatat recommended;
Thank you for your interest in Kokatat.
Our semi dry Supernova Angler Suit does not have a latex neck gasket but is does have latex wrist gaskets. While Kokatat does not have alternative materials for our gaskets there are 3rd party latex alternatives on the market that can be used in DIY replacement applications.
