For Sale / FS: Hobie Trax 2 - $160

Got this together with a kayak I just picked up and don't need it since I already have a cart I like. Only issue is splitting around the valve of one tire. Inflates and holds air fine. Not sure if there is a good way to fix this, but you can always get a replacement tire for $62 from wheeleez, https://wheeleez.com/product/wz3-30u-t/.

What are peoples thoughts on the Vibe Shearwater + Hobie Drive combo? I don't see the Shearwater mentioned much here and as someone looking to purchase their first kayak soon I was wondering if there was a reason.

I am about to start looking for a deal on a used passport/compass/outback soon and was wondering what are some of the things that I should be on the lookout for? I have only used inflatable kayaks before so I don't have much experience with hard kayaks. If this information is stickied or already discussed somewhere please point me in the right direction.

Introductions / Moving to the SF area

Going to be moving to the SF area next month and really looking forward to exploring the fishing available. I really want to start kayak fishing after the move and am really looking forward to learning a lot from all of you. Going to start trying to hunt down a passport 12 soon. Hope I can link up with fellow NCKA members once I get my kayak.
