Hi all!
I used to visit this forum over 10 years ago, when I lived in San Francisco, and fished much of Northern and Central CA from my Hobie adventure.  Life pulled me away from CA for a while, and many miles, 3 Hobies, and thousands of yak hours later, I find myself in Northern CA again.  My wife and I live in an RV full time, and tow a Tacoma with a PA12 and an Outback on top, and we try to stay places that are fishy.  I've been all over the country, but we usually spend a decent chunk of the year in California.  I've been living in Humboldt, Mendocino, and Marin counties for the past few months, and will be in San Diego later this winter through early spring.
I have really been enjoying the ecosystems of the rocky NorCal reefs, and abundant kayak friendly launch points along the beautiful coast.
Honest disclosure:
I am not a frequent visitor of this site, and not much of a social butterfly, and mainly visit for recon on safety when coming to a new location.  That said, I really appreciate the insight and demeanor of the posts that I see exists here, even in my very limited perusal, both in welcoming newcomers, maintaining a community, and even in resolving differences of opinion.  Impressive, by web forum standards.
Thanks for your time and efforts made to educate those interested in being safe and effective on the water.
Respectfully,
Pete, A.K.A. "Mud"

Pete, if you make up to 10 posts it unlocks a few more boards and a much bigger wealth of knowledge. Just search for locales and look at past fishing reports for intel. I've seen reports were guys have put out the GPS coordinates to pinnacles and structures before.
