That means me too!

Yee!

Any input?

Here's mine:

Polaris Supreme: 90' x 25'
3 day, Jun 28 - Jul 1, ?/24 open, $1230 ($410 per day)
Wednesday through Saturday

Pros - Lightest load! Most "long range"ish of the available boats doing 3 day trips. Leaves at 2:00PM, so you could possibly jam down early morning (But see below). Only 3rd trip of season for them, so boat will be in great shape hopefully. Pretty sure they have a water/soda fountain.

Cons - Boat leaving at 2:00PM means you lose half a day of fishing (Although their website actually says the trips will leave as soon as the previous trip is off-loaded and the next trip is loaded.). Early season could be BFT or bust or smaller YT.

Islander: 88' x 24'
3.5 day, Jul 30 - Aug 2, 11/24 open $1330 ($380 per day)
Sunday through Wednesday

Pros - Even though it's not a kayak trip I feel like the Islander is "our" boat. It's a Braid sponsored trip and it's a light load of 24. 3.5 day means you don't have to be there the day before and it's maximum fishing time. It's later in the season, so best chance at variety. All inclusive - no extra fees for permits or fuel surcharge. Water and soda fountain.

Cons - Not sure how good Capt John is at finding the fish is all I can think of, other than it would be nice to check out a different boat. Most expensive trip, but I think worth it for the extra half day.

Vagabond: 80' x 24'
3 day, Jul 6 - Jul 9,     , ?/? open, $995 ($332 per day) Accurate Sponsored
Thursday through Sunday

Pros - Captain has a great reputation. Accurate sponsored and one of the cheaper trips. Water/soda machine.

Cons - Morning departure means will have to be there the previous day. Not sure of passenger load, but it's more than 28. Funky stateroom lay-out with no guarantee of getting a room unless booked early. Mexican permits & visas, beer, soda, Federal Excise Tax and possible fuel surcharge are extra.

Shogun: 90' x 30'
3 day, Jul 16 - Jul 19,    21/30 open, $1200 ($400 per day)
3 day, Aug 6 - 9,             7/28 open, $1205 ($402 per day)
Both Sunday through Wednesday

Pros: Good boat with good reputation. Second trip is prime variety time.

Cons: Has a slight history of leaky heads downstairs that can flood rooms (but mostly on longer trips). Possible permit and fuel surcharges. Early morning trip, may need to be in SD prior day.

3 day, Juy 31 - Aug 1,    17/27 open, $1155 ($385 per day)

But you still get 3 full days of fishing, right?  29/30/31

Tempting.

Nope. No such thing as June 31st.  :smt002

You get whatever fishing you can on Wednesday, then full days Thursday and Friday, then back at port at 7:00AM Saturday.

2.5 at best.

As much as I'd like to try out a new boat, I'm leaning mostly towards the Islander.....or the Shogun.

Both trips are best time for variety fishing.

I can't do the Shogun dates.  The Islander dates are a maybe right now.  Don't hold up on my account though, no way I can decide this weekend ...

Yeah, the rush for me is that my family is coming down to play in SD while I'm off fishing and it's Vy who needs to put in her vacation time hella early.

If it was just me I could pretty much just smash out whenever I want to.  :smt004

Actually, if it was just me I'd be hopping on the 7 day Intrepid trip leaving in a few weeks. JRI sponsored. All the jigs and Coronas you want...plus you get a custom Hooker Intruder wahoo trolling lure.
