It’s been quite a few years since I soaped up and slid on the ol wetsuit. Hopefully it still fits. 🤣 I put on a few pounds since the last time I wore it.

If I can still squeeze into my wetsuit, I’m down for some diving. Do a little urchin cleanup and feed some fish a little steel.

Yah if the shot is falling down like rain, more than likely, it wasn’t a warning shot or intentionally aimed toward them. If you ever hunt any of the refuges for duck, you will definitely get rained on by the shot more than once in a day. That’s just part of the deal. The shot doesn’t travel very far so if you’re anywhere inside of 100yds of the hunter and the ducks are between you and the hunter, there’s a good chance to e gonna get rained on. It may sting a little depending on your pain tolerance, but just don’t look up and it won’t cause you any harm.  And obviously it’s probably a sign that you should put some distance between you and where you’re hearing the shots from, just to be safe.

Ammo is expensive nowadays. So is gas, and just duck hunting in general. I don’t see that shot being a warning shot. Most hunters wouldn’t waste their time and money to just shoot in the air for nothing.
But then again, there are some crazy people out there. Lol

Not sure if you know this Al but the farallons is not a place you want to be at in a kayak. If a great white shark is the tax man, consider the farallons as the IRS main office.... 

It’s been a long time since I’ve caught one and I’d like to get out and try to land a few. But I don’t know where a good spot is for targeting them. I’ve only ever caught them by accident. Never specifically targeted them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
