Has anyone used the conseal brand of deck traction pads? I looks for some reviews, but didn't find too much. Wanted to add a seadeck kit to my thresher, but making the templates myself plus the price are big downsides, conseal has a thresher kit already for $100.

Thanks!

Just saw them on the WS site.  Look pretty interesting.

I have worked with the Conseal material , Hydro-turf, and have a template from Seadek.
Here is a link to the thread concerning all three.
Hope it helps

Hydrospider, thank you fro the thread link, very informational! It seemed you had pretty good things to say about the Conseal kits, and hadn't at the time had the seadek long enough to know durability.

FishingForTheCure, and anyone else interested, I got a kit on the way just now. Should be here next week I hope, but it may be a bit before I can get to the install. But if anyone is interested in a review, thoughts on install or wants to see the kit up close I can post it up here!

Thats accurate and I plan on many more projects using Conseal. All three have their +s.
I still have not used the Seadek product on a boat. I just wanted the pre cut layout.
Seadeks pre cut-to-fit pieces are a huge time saver.  Without a template, this upgrade can be challenging and at times tested my patience. Worth it though. I am a believer and will be using some sort of traction padding on all future boats.

Looking forward to seeing your upgrades ALPINEX and good luck.

I agree with adding pad to all decks. I have on two of mine. I really like it. I don't have full pics handy of the complete jobs, but here are a couple.

Looks good Rob! We will see how it turns out when it arrives, but I received an e-mail from ACK today that it won't even be at their warehouse until 14 December. So looks like I'll be waiting a while, or finding another supplier.

Well, looks like I won't be getting the conseal kit. Ack has finally emailed and said they will not be receiving any more kits! I can't find them anywhere else either.

Seadek looks to be my best bet, but I really dread getting the template kit and making my own, so for now no padding..  Maybe someone will make a thresher template for Seadek soon.

Until then I'm open to other options if there are any?

The conseal kits were dropped/discontinued for some reason. I know Wildy is looking for a different vendor right now.  My first kayaks I added pads to I just cut out myself. Was not that hard.
