Hey Y'all,
my name is Seth, AKA Saltynuts, just dinged my first ling out at Pillar Point this week, Wed. in the AM, before the them big waves rolled in, what a blast!
I'm sporting a $279 lifetime, yes the same company that makes folding tables and chairs, Tamarack 10' angler kayak in a beautiful tan color with some pretty high tech mods, folding stadium chair and grocery store hand basket gear storage in aft compartment, sadly no FF. This was my second or third solo trip out and am really loving the sport!
Hooked up first drop after drifting through the Bull kelp and right as a whale was breaching nearby.
This ling had like 4-5 Anchovies that it yucked up when I netted him. Lots of bait fishing surfacing all around.

What is the probability of getting rolled by a breaching a whale do you suppose?

With my new stadium chair mod I guess the saltynuts name really isn't applicable anymore....but I figured Ding-a-ling need some company cause he's new too....
